Sara's Badge

One of the most striking Golly badges to have been produced in recent times.  This will never be a rare badge, though, as something like 10,000 were produced, each selling at a hefty £15.  The badge was the concept of Richard Burton, who has raised over £150,000 for Leukaemia research over many years.  It was approved by Robertson's, in fact the last Golly badge to have been issued with their blessing.  Available in the autumn of 2002, each badge is numbered and has the manufacturer's name on the back, "Toye, Birmingham England".  My badge is number 1460.  It came in a presentation box and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
